The Headless Mule

The Headless Mule is a character from Brazilian folklore. In most tales, it is a ghost of a woman who was cursed for having given herself up to a priest and was condemned to transform into a headless mule that has fire instead of a head, galloping across the fields since sunset from Thursday until sunrise on Friday. The myth has several variations regarding the sin that turned the cursed woman into a monster.

Here I put an image I use to tell my version of this tale.
